Battambang

In the afternoon we took a bus to Battambang, the second largest city in Cambodia. Whitney and I were lucky enough to sit in front of a Cambodian woman who kept throwing up in a plastic bag during our 5 hour ride. In the morning we paid motor drivers to take us around for the day. We had a wonderful time riding through the countryside and learning more about Cambodia. Our drivers were a lot of fun. My driver highly recommended eating spiders. He prefers the spiders that come from inside the ground to the spiders from the trees. He said they are very delicious if they are fried and salted. We are thinking that the three of us might share a spider next time we see them for sale.
