At the end of the tour a bus dropped us off at a Bonsai garden. The tour guide told us a bus would come in about an hour to pick us up. Apparently some of the activities in our trip had been cancelled, so we slowly walked around the garden. Then we bought some banana chips that were seasoned with ginger and sesame. Jeremy made fun of me for eating half the bag, but it was a good thing that I did because that was all we had for dinner. Our bus was actually a van full of local Vietnamese, and they crammed us and a couple from Ireland into the back seat. The tour guide waved goodbye and just before he shut the door, he informed us that we would arrive at our destination in five hours. As we drove off, we looked at each other in disbelief. Jeremy really wanted to stop the van and go back to Ho Chi Minh and take the bus to Phnom Penh in the morning. Apparently they decided to include an extra bus ride since they had removed some of the other activities from our trip.
